Die Moulded Graphite Rings

Manufactured from 100% pure flexible graphite foil with a high carbon purity of 99% to 99.9%, these packing rings provide excellent self-lubricating and anti-friction properties.
Available in endless form or as two halves with oblique cuts, they are completely free from oil, grease, binders, or additives.
The packing incorporates sacrificial metal corrosion inhibitors to prevent galvanic corrosion of the parent equipment.
Produced by vertically placing flexible pure graphite tape into a die and compressing it using a hydraulic press.
Designed with precise density to ensure optimal compression resistance and retention of size and shape under operating conditions.
Offers high thermal and dimensional stability, extremely low gas and liquid permeability, minimal thermal expansion, and excellent chemical resistance.
Features a low coefficient of friction (0.08 to 0.1 against steel), enabling continuous operation that polishes the stem or shaft without causing abrasion.
Adapts to minor irregularities under moderate pressure and withstands pressure surges and thermal shocks.
Chemically inert and inherently fire-safe, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. These rings can be reinforced with an SS wire net/SS strip. The reinforcement of SS wire net/SS strip/metal reinforced at corners or encapsulated metal, etc. increases the mechanical strength of the ring/gasket which leads to extremely high pressure surge resistance.
These rings can be supplied in various options like as a single piece, a set of rings, chevron V packing, etc.
