These gaskets are most suitable for safe sealing of media under extreme operating temperature up to 550°C & pressure up to 400bar/5800 psi.
These gaskets combine characteristics like better adjustment to the flange face surface and high stability & bursting strength.
Under service conditions it is always guaranteed that the peaks of the kammprofile are covered with layers of a minimum of 0.2mm due to which flange faces will show no surface wear.
A small diffusion cross section and a high tightness of the layer material cause very low leakage rates.
The selection of the appropriate gasket materials and the possibilities to vary the gasket shape makes this type of gasket suitable to many media and operating conditions.
 Style KR
Parallel thrust ring (root core) with camprofile on both sides without centering ring.
It is also available in the Convex root core. For flanges with tongue/groove, male/female or recess to groove.
Style KSGL
Parallel thrust ring (root core) with camprofile on both sides with floating (loose) outer (centering) ring. It is also available in the Convex root core.
For flanges with a flat or raised face.
 Style KSGI
Parallel thrust ring (root core) with camprofile on both sides with integral outer (centering) ring. It is also available in the Convex root core.
For flanges with a flat or raised face.
These are the only gaskets that can be reused after re- lamination provided the cams are intact after initial installation.
Robust in nature and ease of installation & deinstallation is the reason for 1st choice by any Engineer. Another option is to have a parallel solid metal thrust ring (root core) with soft facings.
